"I was not part of the side for seven months, and, having been ignored for the Champions Trophy probables, for the next three months also I won't be part of one-day cricket. So obviously I don't look forward to that. You may call it I was pushed out or was asked to go out ... What I look forward to is to do well in the Sri Lanka tour," Ganguly said when asked about he not getting selected for the Champions Trophy list of 30 probables.
This is a real insult for a champion like Ganguly who has successfully captained India and has won matches single-handedly. This is the state of Dravid and Laxman also. Even they have been shown exit doors from the 50-Over format.
More on Ganguly here: I don't remember missing out on a Test series: Ganguly

Kapil's unbeaten 175 was an epic knock
This is a nice article on Kapil's knock of 175 which turned the tides for Indians. Indians were in a losing position and a must win game- were suffering at 9 for 4. This is the time when our Hero Kapil walked in and blasted a 138-ball unbeaten 175*.
Read through the nice story and enjoy the euphoria of Kapil's grace!

Cricket World Cup- for Test Cricket?
With the craze of T20 going around and seeing the negligence of both Test and One-day cricket, it is very difficult to enhance these two traditional formats. But I have come up with a thought: How about a World Cup for Test Cricket?

Well that sounds great for many Test lovers but so great for many T20 lovers. I certainly feel that time has come to put Test Cricket a good recognition by starting off a World Cup series.
